23 today

Actually I turned 30 back in August. However, what I am referring to is that 23 years ago today I made the trip into Yorkhill hospital in Glasgow to be diagnosed with Diabetes.

I've now been taking 4 injections of insulin per day for .. I'm not sure actually. Maybe 17 years. I can't actually remember if I started on one injection or two, but anyway.

Anyway, happy Diabetes birthday to me :)

    Well, the cool thing is that you're alive and have a great outlook on it. Plus, you're a great contributor to the CF community. :)

    I'm a pump wearer since 2003?, having started with insulin injections after being
    diagnosed as Type I in 1985. Congratulations on the milestone. Here's to
    a cure!
