Role : Developer
Reporting to : Team Leader
Location : Office location is Dundee
Salary : Dependant on Experience

The successful candidate will develop software applications which comply with written and verbally agreed specifications, to agreed timescales and to agreed quality criteria. He/she will work as part of a small team and report regularly to the relevant Team Leader on progress and issues arising.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural design and development
• Implement code using well defined design patterns and object orientated design
• Perform code reviews of own and others work
• Develop and execute required unit test programs
• Complete work within iterations
• Assist in handovers / hand backs
• To work on front / back end development as requested
• Research spikes
• Liaise with the testing department regarding requirement specifications

Technical Requirements

• ColdFusion
• Oracle 8i
• Ajax
• Standards based Web Development
• Good knowledge of design patterns.
• Test driven development
• UML Modeling Diagram
• Commercial experience preferred
• Application development based on n-tier architecture

Personal Skills

• Have experience of working co-operatively in small to medium sized teams.
• Be able to work on own initiative.
• Be Self-motivated and proactive.
